Vocabulary was semi-appropriate. Should have done more searching for one more at his/her level.

Low vocabulary skills. Had to ask how to say something in the target language. Hadn’t looked up word ahead of time.

Totally over student’s head. Should have done a much more intensive research. Most likely chose anything to just have something to hand in.

Preparation

Excellent. Obviously put time and effort into this project.

Good. Could have put more time into this project. Was not relating with confidence.

Mediocre. Obviously didn’t do too much research on the matter.

Poor. Seems like it was quickly done. Seems like anything was chosen without forethought.

Article Knowledge

Excellent Comprehension of what he/she read.

Decent, but should have reread one or more times to have a stronger hold on the subject. Semi “winging it.”

Skimmed over article without really absorbing what it was about. Definitely attempted to “wing it.”

Minimal knowledge. Seems like it was winged by the title.

Followed instructions

Used appropriate newspaper article. Had black and white copy for Señor/Monsieur. Raya.

Had only one component.

Needed to printout. Had an excuse for not having a copy. Also had a color article and an excuse why it was in color.

No article to hand in.
